Smart Choice Protein... aka Perfection! Baked Goods Review!
So have you heard of "Smart Choice Protein"? If yes... You are on the right track... If no... GET TO KNOW THEM! LIKE ASAP! The rundown? well to start, Smart Choice is a lovely company who has literally started a revolution! They have Donuts, Muffins, and Cookies! Now your probably wondering what makes them so special? Would you believe me if i told you all There Products are BELOW 150 calories AND each hold 10 grams of protein?! How about if i said they are made with pure, fresh ingredients AND are gluten free?! Better believe it! Best Part? THEY TASTE LIKE THE REAL DEAL!
So they sent over to me a little care package of goodies!
First up... Birthday Cake Donut!
Alright so opening the package i was already pretty impressed with all the sprinkles. Then came that Birthday Cake smell! Its always a good first sign when the name is accurate with the smell! Alright, so I placed it on my protein soft serve and took a bite while cold... WOW. Not only did they hit the nail on the head with the whole "birthday cake" flavor but this tasted like and ACTUAL cake donut! Then i popped it Right in he microwave and just when i thought i was in love with it cold.... i was blown away when it was warmed up! DEFINITLY exceeded my expectations! Now i'm gong to blow your mind... Calories, 100. Fat, 2. Carbs, 12. Protein, 10. Crazy!
Next... Peanut Butter Heaven Cookie!
Okay let me start off by saying if i were to express my true love for this cookie... id go on for days... THAT'S HOW GOOD IT WAS. From the second i opened it all i smelled was peanut butter! The cookie itself was chewy and with a very fine texture at first bite, Perfect! Now as for flavor... It was like swimming in a jar of peanut butter... I'm not sure if that even makes sense but WHO DOESN'T WANNA SWIM IN A JAR OF PEANUT BUTTER?! Anyways, the cookie tasted like strait up peanut butter heaven! They really out did themselves with this creation! I actually prefer this cookie cold! i let it defrost on the counter before having it of corse but the texture and flavor is really brought out that way! rich and peanut butter-y! Calories, 150. Fat, 8. carbs, 10. Protein, 10. What gets better than that!?
and now... Breakfast Maple Muffin!
Now to start... If you want the room to smell like maple syrup... open this muffin! Awesome smell and definitely impressive size! Usually low carb muffins are super tiny, Not this one! At first glance, I'll be honest, Its nothing special... But if you wanna be impressed... take a bite! The Flavor is spot on! I'd describe it as Pancakes in muffin form! Texture is cake-y and fluffy! What pancakes are all about! I definitely enjoyed this one warmed up, It brought the maple flavor out way more! Calories, 100. Fat, 4. Carbs, 8. Protein, 10. YES THOSE MACOS... THAT MUFFIN!
So here's how i ranked each... My favorite was The peanut butter cookie! I would actual call this AND the donut my favorite but i HAVE to pick haha! So the Donut comes in second place. The only reason I'm putting the maple muffin in third is because i personally put everything sprinkles and peanut butter ahead of everything else... but that's just me.
